The Hawks were one of the NBA’s premier teams in the 50’s and 60’s winning 11 division titles between 1956 and 1967. During this span they managed to win four conference titles and in 1958 they won their one and only championship. The Hawks’ success came while the team was based in St Louis, but since 1968 they have relocated to Atlanta. As the Atlanta Hawks the team have only won four division titles the last one coming in 1994.
